Hey guys, it's been a while since I've said hi.. :) Anyways..
I was offroading a few months ago and knocked my bumper off, so all the mounting holes are torn off.. and well, I'm not a fan of the stock front bumper.
I've been checking different vendors out, I like the shrockworks bumper, but feel 900-1000$ is out of my price range.. so I looked into the Calmini winch bumper, but again, 700+ is out of my price range still.
So then I saw the Calmini Pre-runner bumper, and at 430$, it looks pretty sweet.
I started doing a little research, and the little bit of info I've read, people think it's weak, the mounting holes don't line up, things like that. I wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with the pre-runner bumper, and what they think about it.
I'm thinking, the worst case scenario, I go down to the local tech school and have them draft up a new bumper, and have their metal shop fab one up, but I don't know how expensive that would be, or quality..
Any thoughts, guys?
