I have a '02 Frontier 4x4 crewcab that is awfully squeaky in the front end suspension area. For example, when I negotiate a small bumb or a road that causes my suspension to flex in some sort of manner, I hear a scrunching/squeaky sound; similar to your grandpa's truck from 1960. Thinking it was the shocks, I replaced them this weekend with Gabriel Pro Guard shocks. Needless to say, that didn't solve the issue. Granted, it did lessen some of the noise, but not by much.
When I push on the front of the truck, the noise is coming from the shock area. What are some other areas of interest that I should pursue?
Thanks!!!
