I own a 2004 nissan frontier Crewcab V6 4X2 5 speed stick shift.  55,000 miles.  I change oil,oil and air filter every 5,000 miles.  I've never took it to the dealer for a basic tune up yet. Because the engine still runs fine. Im thinking about having a tune up.  Is it time to change spark plugs, distributor cap, rotary, antifreeze, fuel filter, rear axle oil, manual transmission oil.  I  can do it myself but the last 2 I have to take it to a garage.  I bought 2 Dunlop A/T tires and rotate it to the back, my orignal BF Goodwrench A/T in the front.  The tire dealer said my factory shocks still has life yet about 1-1/2year left and my brake pads is about little more half used, so I have to change it soon.  A friend of mine told me when it gets to 70,000 miles I need to change all belts, water pump, thermostat.  Need expert opinions if this is about correct.

You are wasting money changing your air filter every 5K. The GENUINE NISSAN OIL IMPREGNATED FILTERS ARE GOOD FOR 30K. Plugs are good for 105K as well as timing belt(some have needed attention earlier if rattling occurs). I would replace the cap and rotor, fuel filter with genuine Nissan parts at 60K. Coolant is good for 4yrs/60K(you are over due). Most owners never change the diff and trans fluids, personally I prefer to do it.

Thanks for the info. I just flushed my coolant with Peak 50/50 premixed antifreeze.
