have a good battery but when i try to start the truck, nothing, no horn, no lights for a few secs. then it starts either working or the dash lights come on. i have check the battery, terminals, and looked any obvious corrsion that may cause something of this nature. the only thing i have seen is the 80amp fuse link had corrosion, but i replaced that, and it still does this

advise

i need this truck as i use it for a work truck,

Hmmm, it almost seems like your ACC relay isn't switching over right away.

Possible sub switch-the electrical part of the ignition switch -which is available separately. Have you checked the main ground? Can't remember if it is on the intake manifold or down by the starter-check both places and remove and wire brush to clean.
