I have a clicking sound in my left front at low speed on my 05 4x4 LE. Plus I have noticed excessive vibration in the truck at speed of 65 to 75 mph, but I do not feel it in the steering wheel. Do truck tires go out of balance over time? I am pretty sure these two issues are seperate from each other. Does anyone have any insight on these issues.

Check the u-joints very carefully on the front and rear driveshafts, and yes the tires can go out of balance.

i hear a loud clack on occasion on very slow turns too on my 01 CC. read a long time ago that the hard rubber (or hard plastic cover) bushings are worn out on the wheel stopper. checked years ago and there was none but left it that way up to now, question is any complications if no cover is placed. though this may be a different case from mls05, i don't know.
i used to have vibration to my steering wheel at 40-50mph, had the tires rotated and balanced and it was gone.
hope that helps...
