Hey All,

I just picked up my 2011 Frontier SV 4x4 long bed last night. So far i am loving it. Everything I had wanted in a truck. Only have about 60 miles on it but i have to take a short trip about 300 miles round trip. So that should break her in pretty well. Interested to see my initial gas mileage.

Thanks guys,

I just put about 250 miles on it. Didnt really have a chance to break it in how they say since i had to take a long highway trip right out of the gate but i should be ok. Rides like a dream. Couldnt be happier. I look forward to gaining a wealth of knowledge from this forum.

Thanks in advace!

PS:

I had them throw in the tow package because it wasnt on the truck and i got it in for free. They will be installing it when it comes it and i also go the rust proofing from nissan since it had a 10 year warranty transferrable and no inspections. Any thoughts on it? anyone had it done?

thanks,

Kgordon

The week I got my truck I took it to the outer banks. Drove the heck out of that truck, does good in the beach sand, only issue I had was when the truck die on me in the sand once and I could not figure what was going on , luckly my son in law a 4x4 enthusiast said that the VDC need to be switch off, he was correct. So remember when in 4x4 drive to turn the switch off or your engine will just die in the mud or sand...
