I am new to the Frontier (about a week now) and I have a quick question that I wasnt able to find by searching. I need to replace the crankshaft pulley. Does anyone have a break down on how to do it? Also, does no one carry this pulley in stock? I went to Oreilly's and they didnt have any listing for it, checked Advanced online and couldnt find it. The truck has a million miles on it, runs great, and just makes the chirp from the pulley from time to time.

it's a 99 with the 4cyl with an auto transmission (the price was right)....

Thanks,

Charlie

Remove the belts, remove the crank pulley bolt, use puller
to remove pulley.

Is the best place to get it from the dealer? Might it have a name that advanced and oreilly's might know? Sorry to be so needy, just dont want to mess it up.

thanks,

x2 on getting it from the dealer!

Other parts that I have gotten from other places are crap
and don't fit right. Go to the dealer with your VIN number
and they can get you the exact correct part the first time.
