Hey everyone. So this is my first frontier. Its a 1998
king cab 4x4 manual with the ka motor (4 cyl). I paid
$3200 for it in oklahoma city. Its got 127k miles on it.
Its got some dents and scratches here and there and I
need to fix the headlining, and for some reason the air
vents are stuck on the windshield setting but im good at
tearing things apart.
So first impression I really like this truck. Honestly im
a toyota guy. Ive owned 3 toyota pickups and one tacoma
and i loved them all. The new tacomas are just too
expensive right now so i went with my second choice. I
did like that fact that this truck shares its motor with
my S13 240sx. I've read there are a few minor differences
but im hoping my familiarization with it will help.
The truck seems to be a great deal slower than my 240sx
but i know it has prob about 1000 pounds difference and
it could prob use a full tune up.
So anyways I'd like to free up a bit more power. Any
veterans out there got some advice on where to start. On
my ka on the 240 i got full exhaust, cat delete, intake
mod, FULL emissions delete, weight reduction. After all
that it deff freed up some power.
Thanks
