Have a '98 Frontier 2.4L. Have replaced MAP sensor, Idle
speed control and still have a problem with engine dying
after warm up. DTC shows P0450 which is not always shown.
Any suggestions?

How about the MAFS, has that been replaced? Are you using a
Genuine Nissan oil impregnated air filter? Many
possibilities for the P0450 code.

Haven't changed the MAFS sensor yet due to the cost :)
However, been looking at that very real possibility. Was
hoping someone had a cheaper cure..... Have NOT gone to the
genuine Nissan oil impregnated air filter. Will probably
try that first.

You could try and clean the MAFS with an approved cleaner.

Will try that Sunday as soon as the auto parts store opens.
Found a new MAF sensor on Ebay for $53 ($56?) and might go
ahead and order it just in case. Most I have found were
well over $200 which is quite steep for my finances...
