I have a 2000 Nissan Frontier RWD with a 2.4 that I cannot find out why my belts squeel at start up. I have tried new belts several times and even played with the belt tension and still can't get it to stop. Any ideas?

If you put new belts on and it's still squeals at start up
then I'd start looking at the pulleys themselves. Easiest
way is to remove the belt and try to spin some of them by
hand. Listen and see if any of them sound like they're
grinding. Obviously you can't rotate the crank, and the
power steering probably won't budge. I've found it's
usually the idler or tensioner that's worn out.
