I have a 2006 Frontier v6 automatic. There is a problem the radiator
which has a internal transmision cooler. Basicly the transmision cooler
could fail causing engine coolent to be cycled throught the transmision,
Nissan will call this contamination. The result, your transmision will be
ruined.

Warning signs :
At idle the your heater may not blow hot air
Slight vibration at 40-45 the go away after it shifts
Hard shifting from gear to gear
Coolent like like grey milk and ATF cloudy

The good news:
Nissan has extended the radiator warranty from 60,000 to 80,000 so if
your Frontier,Pathfinder or Xtera has any of these problems have it
checked.

There is a Class Action law suit concerning this for those who got
caught after the warranty. I found all kinds of complaints and
information all over the web on this.
