I have a 99 with the 6 cyl. I'm having major troubles narrowing
down the cause to this issue. I have to unplug the a/c fan or it will
run constantly even when the truck is off. I unplugged the triple
switch on the condenser and it still runs. I'm at a loss any input
would be great.

The cooling fan relay ground is controlled by the triple
switch(which you unplugged) and the ECU. Look for any signs
of corrosion or moisture damage to the ECU. A possible fix
would be to install a toggle switch to interrupt the ground
signal to the cooling fan rely on the Light green/red wire.
PS your truck is a 99.5 the 99 did not have the electric
fan for the condenser.

How is the fan turning on if I unplugged the triple switch? shouldn't
the switch complete the ground or close for potential to go
through? So if it does just that then the fan shouldn't come on with
the triple switch unplugged?
