I need to replace the trip odometer on my 2008 Frontier. I know I need to pull the instrument cluster to do this, but do not know how to disasseble the surround dash. Anyone know how to do this?

Yes. One screw at a time. Sorry, just being a smart ---.
I'll look at mine and try to give a step by step. Can't
rely on my memory anymore because I lost it!!!!

Thanks. At quick glamce, I see no screws for the pieces surrounding the cluster, only on the panel below the steering wheel.

I just went out and looked at mine, but being 101 degrees
out there, I didn't spend a lot of time. That is a good
place to start is with that lower panel. If you see no
screws after that, it is a safe assumption that the piece
snaps in place.

Got it done. There is one visible screw on the bottom panel. Basically for anyone who has to do this. Start by removing the trim panel at the door and all te way up the side of the dash. It all snaps out, except you have 2 screws to remove the handle at the window pillar. Once this is out, remove the 2 screws on the bottom panel under the steering wheel and snap out. Disconnect any switches and put to the side.  Then rmove the ring around the key cylinder, just snaps off. Then remove the screws holding the upper panel and snap out. There are 4 screws holding the instrument cluster. Pull these screws, and disconnect the harness. Reassemble in reverse order. Hope this helps someone in the future.
