Hello, I will hitting the 60K mark in a few months, was planning on doing an ATF change. Any items to consider?
I hear there is a filter in the tranny but it can be tricky to take out?

Thanks,
David

It is a metal screen that could be cleaned w/ brake parts
cleaner in the trans. or you could have the systemm
flushed. Be sure to use the correct fluid.

..

Save the old fluid to measure so you’ll know how much
(about) new to put back in… for starters.

Good luck.. Don S..

Just to make sure, I leave the filter in the tranny and spray brake clean, is that correct?

I will need a new pan gasket and plug gasket as well?
Or is silicone better?

Thanks!

Yes to leaving the filter in the trans. NO to silicone-get
a new gasket for the pan, don't worry about the plug
washer.

What kind of fluid do you plan to use?
