I have a 2002 Frontier SE Crew 4X4 V6 Non S/C with an A/T. both when i am driving and in park, at right before 2k rpm, there is a consistent engine rattle/knock. i also get this on startup sometimes, (which i have gathered is pretty common among all older vehicles, and isnt too bad) and pretty frequently also when i get to high RPM right before it shifts. Anybody have any idea of what this could be?

How many miles???? Timing belt rattle?????

its probably timing belt. if it has not been done in at
least 100k miles. bc mine did that right around 100k it
stared making a bad rattle.
