Last week I had noise I thought was coming from the front tires. took it to the dealer, and they tell me I need a whole new rear axle assembly put in due to the gears being chewed up in the differential. This truck, a frontier king cab, SV 4x4, with a manual transmission, 4.0 motor has very low miles on it, only twenty thousand. Has anybody else had this issue or know of an ongoing problem with these rear ends, thanks for any feedback.

My NISMO is 07 they told me the same BS since 34k miles, the same dif now has 190,000 today yes it makes noise
above 75-80 otherwise, I tow my car no problems weight is around 5000lbs use better rear dif grease
