OK, this sounds strange but its bugging me. I have a
2002. When I lock the vehicle using the key fob it
would honk the horn and blink the running lights when
the doors were all closed. When I opened it, it would
blink the running lights. Now when I lock it, the horn
doesn't honk but the running lights blink. When I
unlock it, it unlocks but there is no indicator. While
I haven't put a tester on all four door switches they do
all do the right thing with the dome light. does
anybody have any ideas as to what's going on? Is there a
horn relay that might be going bad?

I don't know.
I bought my 1999 new and never locked it with the fob since the second day. I didn't like the horn.
I rarely unlock with the fob. Only with the wife is riding with me. The lights do blink and I can hear and tell that both locks are working.
Good Luck.. Don S..

There is a toggle on the fob to switch
from visual to audible warning. Hold lock
and unlock at the same time for 3 seconds
and it will toggle from visual (lights
flash) to audible ( lights and horn toot)
I think yours has been set to visual.
That's how it works on my 07
Hope this helps and it's not too late...
lol
