the service engine light since the truck was probably
older than him. Can anybody out there help me? Thanks.

On my 76 Datsun pick up there was a little silver box on the right inter fender with a small rubber grommet plugging a hole. You stick a pin in it to reset it.

I'm the only one to change the oil in my 99 Frontier since it was new. I've never noticed the/a warning light.

Please post up if you find it...

 Thanks.. Don S..

The light won't come on for another 2,000km which will
bring the truck to 5,000km (3,000mi) since the light was
last "reset". I'll keep an eye on it then. In the
meantime I'll see if i can find hat little silver box.
 Thanks for the feedback.

 | the Check engine lite, most likely you have a concern
which you will need you have the DTC's checked with a
 scan tool.

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't pay sufficient
attention the last time the light was reset thus my
predicament. There was no scan device involved. Next
time I'm at the shop I'll inquire.

 Regards,

 Mike D.
