     I have a 2003 Frontier XE/2.4 four cylinder. I
need to replace the MAP sensor. Have already replaced
the TPS and the MAS sensors. My Chilton's repair
manual shows two different places where the Map sensor
is supposed to be! It is not in either place! Where in
the world did Nissan hide this sensor? Any help will
be appreciated.

Medic,

You should be useing the Geniune Nissan Service Manual.
The Chilton isn't nothing compared IMO. Here is a website
that I have ordered from and I didn't have a problem:

https://www.ecrater.com/p/25991329/2003-nissan-frontier-
service-repair-shop?keywords=nissan+frontier+service+manual

@ $12.85 + 5 $'s shipping the price is Right for the CD. I
advise useing Paypal to pay, and help if there is a
problem. I don't know where the map sensor is on your
Frontier,, but the Nissan Manual should help more than the
Chilton IMO. It is extensive, in depth and Technical, but
understandable IMO.

When I got mine,, I made a New folder on Desktop and copied
the PDF File's to that Folder, then I stored the Master CD
for Protection.

Good Luck,

Steve,

On mine there was 3 extra file's beside's the Nissan
Frontier Service Manual.

At first I made a New Folder on the desktop and named it
year, make, model Service Manual.

Then I opened up the Service manual to show all the PDF
File's, there are a bunch of them for my '13. You won't
understand the Title's but they are Exactly named like
Nissan labeled them ( You can change the name's of the
file's later on if you want, to make it easier to reference
the content for a faster way to get to what you are after.

Then I selected "ALL the File's" and Copied them to the New
folder on the Desktop.

I then opened up the Extra File's on the Master CD and
chose to copy some of them that I thought might help me
later on in relation to Maintenance, to the New folder as
well.

I checked the New Folder for the Total # of file's to make
sure all transfered from the CD, then I stored the CD away.

There may be General Index file that tell's what each file
is about, or you may have to do like me and open each one
up to see if it contain's the information that you're
looking for.   The Title's will make a little bit more
sense once you open each file up though.

@ First it's a little bit cumbersome, but after you start
renameing the File's like you want them,, it'll be a lot
easier looking up what you need in the future. At any rate
it sure beat's paying over 200 $'s buying it from Nissan
for my '13.

Here's hopeing you get your's undamaged in perfect
condition like I received mine.

Let us know and I sure hope that it help's you like mine
has helped me over the year's. Remember you can print out
the page's that you want and take them out to where you are
doing maintenance. I need to get a folder that has Plastic
Insert's so that I can keep the printed page's that I want
out in the Garage for quick access @ the Tool Box.

Regards,
