Just wanted to introduce myself. I've been the owner of a 2000 CC for about 3 years now. Just my transportation, nothing special.

..

rotus;

... Well there are real Texans and a world full of wannabies.

Welcome to the Frontier Forum! I'm about 15 miles south of Billy Bob's  in Cowtown.

December '98 I bought mine and it will be turning over 40,000 miles in a few months.

Have a good one,  and CUL.. Don S..

Well, I wasn't born here, but I've been here since '72 (it snowed that year) so I would think I'm naturalized by now.

I'll be at the Stockyards this weekend. Got a banquet to go to. I'll throw one back for you!

Where are you south of Cowtown? I race in Cresson (between Benbrook and Granbury) @ the Motorsport Ranch.

..

rotus;

I wasn't born here ether. I did start the first grade in a Harlengen school before the start of WWII.

... I live 3 miles west of Burleson. I'll be at the White Elephant Saloon from 2:00pm till 5:00pm On Exchange St.  Sunday November the 12th  I'll be the guy in the white beard taking pictures of the bands on the stage. If your around the area look me up. - - No cover charge!

I play music with some of the guys on stage, make music videos and CD - DVD album covers for them.

Have a good one, and CUL.. Don S..

Ha, I'm from Texas too. Im in the very outskirts of the DFW metroplex...I usually take my frontier along the Brazos or Red River and go mudding. I got my Frontier in September as a graduation gift (which is why Im afraid if I dont graduate, my folks will repo it). I had my choices down to a Ford F-250 or a Chevy Silverado and we swung by the Nissan dealership here for the heck of it and I gave my Nissan a test drive and it appealed to me far more than the other two...mom bought it on impulse but Im glad she did. I've never owned a foreign truck (cars, yes...once upon a time ago we were blessed with a Supra but my dad was stupid and sold it) so I wasn't sure how it'd live up to my expectations. I work excavation and have to tow some fairly heavy machinery and drive over some pretty rough terrains; and, much to my gratitude it's performing exceptionally (and I've owned Fords, Chevy's, GMs, and Dodges so I'm somewhat a connoisseur with work trucks).

.. I'm living in the area half way between Rendon and Burleson. And about 500 yards south of the Tarrant County line.

Have a good one, and CUL.. Don S..
