Not sure, maybe rubber cement? I used that on my old Mustang, and it worked well. Is it "starting to come down" or is it "way down"?

It is all the way down. I believe my Father one time had a s10 and he used adhesive glue on that headliner. But i dont know if he sprayed it and then put the cover over the board and that was it. Or if he pushed/rolled etc it down. How hard is it to take the board out ? I can take the seats out if it helps. Thanks

I took it out today. I took the 3 plugs things out,the handle on the pass side above the door, the visors, the door molding, and the panels on the extended cab and the winshield, and the lights. It was hard getting it out with it being a extended cab and a 5 speed and the steering wheel in the way. I will hate putting it back in. Let the fun begin getting the old glue off. I found a website that helped. www.wlsheadliners.com
