Ok, I've asked this question on other forums and never received an accurate response.  My Frontier uses 9007 series headlight bulbs which are about as bright as a cigarette lighter.  Is it theoretically possible to convert a 9007 series bulb to an H4 style if I rewired the harness for the connection and seated them sung in the headlight housing?  I know you are probably thinking I'm crazy but the over all design of an H4 is superior as well as its luminosity.  The Tacoma uses an H4 and has relatively the same style reflective housing so I was assuming this would be possible.  Any input would be greatly appreciated.......I may be crazy thinking this....so if this is an illogical approach to increased lighting my next question is how many 130wattt Long range KC Hilites can an 02 Frontier support at once, because the high beams are unacceptable.

There are quite a few views regarding my question, so please don't be scared to answer because any response is regarded as positive.  I know someone out there must have 130watt Long Range KC Hilites, so if you could just give me a response to their overall quality and efficiency that would commendable.  Thank You.

Will the H4 fit into the assembly? Have you tried Sylvania Silver star ultra bulbs?

Well, 130watt KC HiLites it is.  Then I can at least  play "let's blind the on-coming driver" game with a-holes that use aftermarket HID conversions.

Ok, also....I'm by no means trying to sound like an egotistical jerk as far as bulbs are concerned, but I've done substantial reading on the subject of bulbs and luminosity and through my own experience I've learned a lot.  I hate to inform you this but Silverstar bulbs are complete garbage.  Even look at the packaging, because all it consists of is Xtravision bulbs with a weird purple film covering the glass.  The Xtravisions, which are $25 cheaper, put out more light (higher luminosity) than the Silverstars and Silverstar Ultras.  Yes, white light looks brighter to the human eye, but that doesn't mean it creates more light (luminosity) or for that matter, usable or directed light.  Silverstars are about equal to PIAA lights which are also about as bright as a candle, but have a price like they're crafted with diamond.  I actually own a set of Silverstars, Xtravisions, Super Plasma GT-X, and I will compare all of those in the same headlight, then compare them to a 17 year old vehicle that uses H4 [(9003)These bulbs are original] and you'll will witness an extreme difference which is why I wanted H4 bulbs in my truck.

Let me know how it works out for you, I hate my headlights. I put the
Silverstar ultra in mine and adjusted up a little, which helped. I have seen
people install different bulbs before in other vehicles and either the
headlight assembly gets warped from too much heat or the connectors get
burned from too much current flow.
