I would like a new V6 manual to tow a $5000 lb trailer.
I prefer a basic truck, the only option I need is A/C.
It looks to me like the price of a manual is now more than
an auto trans.
A new Frontier would cost over $27K, out the door. To me
that is a lot for a basic pickup. I do not believe used are
a good value for the consumer. They just don't last as long
and have more repairs. I only paid $12K out the door for my
2002 4 Cly Tacoma. Any suggestions on where I could get a
low price on one?

I have had the best luck purchasing via Costco auto program. My 08 Frontier, I got it for less then $24K out the door. crew cab long bed 4X4. At the time, my price was $300 over invoice. The dealer shows me the invoice, and then adds $300, and I am asked to take it or leave it.

With an add-on Transmission cooler the automatic will
usually out last the manual and clutch combo.
Have a good one.. Don S..
