Hey everybody. Today I purchased my first Frontier, and also first pickup.
I browsed the "technical" forum and noticed only 3 pages which I was very
happy to see.

I just came from a '02 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V that I bought brand new
in '02. Take a look at the B15 Sentra forums. Their technical discussion is
LOOONG. In the 9 years I had that car, it was like a love/hate relationship.
I loved it, but boy did it have it's problems. It finally bit the dirt for the
last time the day after Christmas this year and I'd had enough. I needed a
small truck anyway, and found this used '04 Frontier King Cab 4x4 SC
with 46k miles on it.

I've only had it for about 9 hours, and seem to love it so far. I'm just kind
of concerned that now I've got to learn a whole new car. My Sentra,
though it had it's problems, was very familiar to me and I could always tell
exactly what was wrong with it. I'm not on the up and up on this Frontier
yet.

So there ya have it. An all-new pickup man. I hope I made the right choice
with this Frontier. I've not found a lot of negative owner feedback yet, so
I'm assuming it's a pretty stable truck.

Oops... just noticed that the filter was enabled and not showing ALL

I think you'll really like it. I have had my '03 S/C Crew Cab for 2.5 years and it has been a great truck. It's not a perfect truck but it's just fun to drive. It's never NOT been able to do what I wanted it to do or haul what I wanted it to haul. My biggest complaint is that the cruise control sucks.

Early on, I did have a couple issues which were the gas tank and the O2 sensor. Supposedly, the gas tank is a common problem because of the design. It can corrode on the top of the tank and leak. It started throwing the check engine light and it apppeared like a loose fuel cap. Then, I started smelling gas after fill ups and it later became apparent that it was the tank. For the O2 sensor, I noticed that I wasn't getting full boost from the supercharger. For a normally aspirated vehicle, this isn't a big deal. For turbo or supercharged vehicles, it's a problem. Both were pretty pricey to fix. However, since then I haven't had any problems.

Good luck with it!
