Hello Frontier fans.
I needed a truck back in May and shopped 'till I dropped to find the right
used vehicle.

I found this 2000 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab 2WD V6 with only 56,000 miles
on it. Owned by an engineer in the silicone valley, he took meticulous care of
it and had records for everything he did, and then some.

This is my first Nissan. I have to say I am impressed with its power although,
like I've seen a thread here for (LOL) the gas mileage sucks

.

The previous owner put a K&N air filter on (Ooh, that reminds me, I gotta
clean it), some air defectors (ick!), and a cool toolbox. Oh, he also installed a
lock on the tailgate.

The truck came with power everything, bed-liner, towing package, glass
moonroof (not power), chrome bumpers...it looks pretty nice.

I found this forum because of two things...
1 - I am having the dashboard instrument failure occurring on long trips. I
googled the problem and found answeres here on nissanfrontier.org (thanks
for the knowledge).

2 - I was hoping to find a source for LED tail lights for the frontier. I've
looked around and searched high and low but can't find anything about it
here, or on the net.

Welcome to the group!!

Looks like you found a great ride...I put A deflector and window rain guards on my '99 and pained then to match. I can leave the windows down a half inch in the summer heat and not worry 'bout getting the inside wet.

We had a White Christmas in North Central Texas this year! beats having to drive to lake arrowhead for it!
