I took delivery of my 07 frontier SE King Cab 6speed 2wd 2 weeks ago so far all is great.  I have owned Nissans most of my driving carreer.  The new truck replaced a 87 harbody SEV6 5spd.  I hope the 07 will last as long as the old one did.  I also own  an 88 300ZX and 99 Maxima SE all manual transmissions (I dont know how to drive an Auto).  LOL  Have a great day all  Mike

mr300z87;

Welcome to the Frontier group! Here's hoping the'07 is a good one.

I've only had Datsun-Nissan and Jeep cars and trucks for the last 22 years straight. I haven't owned a stick in 11 years.

Driving a 4x4 automatic on the rocks does require a different type of skill. But ether way it's all fun.

Have a good one, and  CUL.. Don S..

Thank for the welcome.  My other automotive passion is Mopar Mucsle and all thing mopar until 74.  The only other new vehical I have owned was a 92 Dakota V8 2wd.  Ran it for 190+ and just sold it to my nephew as his first car.  I also own a 68 Sattelite (roadrunner Clone).  Unfortunaty both Mopars are auto.   Mike

... Well my all time favorite car was a the '59 Plymouth Fury hard top with the 5 button drive and the two fours-tuned induction intake.

... I used to test drive (for performance) local police cars. These were '60 & '61 Plymouth Interceptors (automatics) and if they were running right they would burn the tires shifting in to high gear at well over 100 mph. If they didn't I would take them to a tune-up man in Ft.Worth. The Plymouths would run more than twice as long between tune-ups than the Fords and Chevys.

Have a good one, and  CUL.. Don S..
