does anyone know if the nissan 6cd changer (non-bose) will work as a replacement in my 05 kc 4 speaker with the cheap factory single disc cd player. if so is there anything special about the wiring?

Do you mean the standalone internally amped one, one or the Rockford Fosgate one?

If the stand alone unit, it will plug right in, you will have to order different mounting brackets from the dealer for the 6 disc. They are only a couple dollars. If not, the unit sticks out too much and you can' get the dash back together. I just confirmed that myself and now have to wait for the brackets to arrive.

If you mean the Rockford Fosgate unit, it's not worth the hassle. That setup needs an the factory amp, and for the money spent, unless you really want the oem look, you would do better after market.
