Hi,
I just got sirius radio, and I'm not too sure how to route the antenna wire from the roof into the interior of my '06 frontier. How hard is it to remove the third brake light and run the wire in through there? Or is there a better way?

Thanks in advance!

I just mounted the antenna on the front part of the roof and ran the wire around the windshield to the driver's side.  The wire can be hidden under the window moulding.  From there i went into the car through the rubber grommet near the door hinge.

I'm not sure it its the best way, but that's how i did it.  I briefly looked at the third breaklight, but didn't want to have to run the wire all the way back to the front.  kinda lazy on my part, i guess.

good luck,

brian

there are two plastic caps above the back window. pull those out, and you can see the nuts back there to loosen the 3rd brake light. i think they're 7mm.

as far as running the wire through the cab. i bet you could tuck it behind the inside weather stripping above the doors. or slide it under the ceiling carpet.

Hey.  Just did it myself.  Loosened the two nuts from inside the cab, above the back window, behind the little plastic caps (9mm I think).  Brought the wire in and above the headliner toward passenger side. Loosened some panels and brought wire down to threshold on passenger side.  Ran wire toward front along with other wires under threshold strips all the way to kick panel on passenger side, up inside dash behind glove box.  Mounted tuner box behind and to the left of glove boxes.  Ta da!  Nice and clean.
