I have the stock single CD radio and it does not have any provisions for an aux input. The removal is quite simple. Carefully pop out the small tray on the dash (above the radio) and you will find a single phillips head screw. Remove the screw and then you can pull the trim piece around the radio out. The entire piece, including the heater controls, comes straight out and there is sufficient slack in the cables to turn it out of the way to gain access to the radio mounting screws. The radio has a single electrical connector and one antenna connection on the back.
My satellite radio has an electronic switch that goes into the antenna cable and is hardwired into the satellite receiver. It uses the standard antenna connnectors (I believe they are RCA connectors), which unfortuantely did not mate up with the Nissan antenna cable so additional adapters were required. Sorry, no pics.
