I have an 05 Nismo KC, and just replaced the stock rear 6.5 w/ JL Audio speaker.  For some reason, now their's no sound coming out of it.  My CD has powers, and everything seems to be functioning. 

Can wiring the speaker wrong short circuited something? meaning I mixed up the polarities.  Gotta be honest, i didn't know which wire was + or -, so I took a guess.  The color ones are usually + wires.

I've tried to hook up another Nissan head unit, and same problems.  It powers up, but no sound.  This lead to my conclusion that my head unit's amp is ok.

Pls help.
