Totally new here: I just purchased my first Frontier--a
2014 SV 4x4. I'm really happy with it, but I was not able
to find one that worked for me, that came with nav and a
backup camera.
If I want a straightforward way to have a viewing window
for the camera on my radio, is it as simple as buying a
used Frontier upgrade radio with Nav from a junkyard? and
buying a camera to wire to it? Will it then magically all
work...and recognize that, when I am backing up, it should
display the camera?
I was not able to find an answer to this question anywhere
else, so I'm asking here.

This might be a question for The Nissan Master Electronic Tech.
Or You might get some help with Gemini AI, if you give the
complete details about your truck, ie Year, Make, Model, Trim
and even the Vin if they need it, so that Ai can pull up the
complete details about your electronic Details.
Beware, Gemini will go into an in depth Detail,, and be ready
cause Gemini will talk your head off... :)
I use Gemini a lot, but I aways have to find a way to verify what
they are telling me before I proceed.
Unless You Really Need This Modification, and the Nissan
Electronic Tech Says it will work, No Problem's. I would
seriously consider not doing it and leaveing it OEM. It is Your
Truck Though so Only You can decide if it's worth opening up a
can of worms or not.
