I have a 98 frontier and just the other day it started to let out a whining noise.  It sounds like it is coming from underneath, but it only happens when I go faster than 20 mph.  It doesn't matter if I am in 2nd gear or 3rd.  Any thoughts?

It doesn't sound like a loose/bad belt, and I changed all the belts a few months ago.  I rolled down the windows and listened to hear if it was coming from the wheels and it didn't sound like the brake squealers.  It almost sounds like it is coming from my transmission, but again it makes the noise even when I have the clutch in or am in neutral.  Just as long as I am moving faster than 20 mph.
