Where is the crank positioning sensor located on the four cylinder Frontier truck?

Depending on the year, should be on the passenger side, down low, near the bell housing area of the engine.

Thank you.  I have another problem.  I have change the EGR and the Crank positioning sensor.  It is a 98 4 cylinder Frontier.  I have change the fuel filter and put fuel treatment in it.  But the thing still doesn't run.  It revs up then it boggs down.  It feals like there is something clogged.  When I have it wide open it boggs down.  I haven't checked the pluggs yet.  The guy I bought it off said that he had all that done, he has new wire to it.  Could it be valves, a computer, or could it be my speed senor.  When I put it in neutral and step on the throttle it boggs down.  I thought it was bad fuel.  Should it be instant or does that fuel treatment have to work for a couple of days?  Thank you.

It is a Mass air flow sensor.  But this truck I think work off a circut.  I don't know if it could be a head gasket, or to much air and not enough fuel.  The code that I got was a P0100.  It says it may be faulty air sensor were is that located?  the trucks a 98 4 cylinder 16 valve, but I am making sure that it is that and not anything major.  Tell me what you think of this I unplugged a senosor on the side of the throttle body, and pugged it back in and it killed the truck.  Not sure what sensor it was but it is the one next to the throttle cable, on the 4 cylinder.  I will hook the OBD 2 up to it and see if it comes up.  But not sure were to go.  I live in Hawaii and it is hard to get the truck to the shop.  It dies on me before I can get it any were. I don't have a flat bed to haul it or the money to tow it.  Thanks for your help

P0100 is MAFS which is located in the throttle body, sometimes if you look into the small hole where the fine wires are, you may see a piece of rubber from the air cleaner stuck in there. It may need cleaning with some contact  cleaner or need to be replaced. You may want to check the harness at the securing bracket for wear or chafing.

thank you for that also I have one more question.  I might have found my problem.  I found that the manifold bolts where loose.  So that might have been giving me the p0100, do you happen to know what the torque specs are for that manifold.  Thank you again for all your help.
