I think i need a new starter for my frontier.?  I crank it but my truck wont turn on and my battery is still new so i know it isnt that and i checked my fuses and nothing there so can anyone PLEASE tell me where the starter is on the Frontier LE 2007.

If the engine is cranking... rotating...  the starter might still be OK. Is the engine an I-4 or V-6? to find the starter follow the the possitive battery cable to it. You may have a bad fuel pump, bad fuel plugged fuel filter, or an electrical problem!

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..

It would be nice if our members would add their vehicle information to their signature (similar to mine) plus add their City and State . A member in the same town might be willing to drop by and help you with a problem. Or drink all your beer!

If you are under 3/36,000 you are still covered under warranty-have it towed to the dealer.

well now that i took the starter off and cleaned it, it wanted to start up but didnt crank anymore so i believe my starter is messed up.  thanks for the help lakota ill be sure to check my fuel pump and fuel and try to do the other things ill keep ya updated.  and im not under the warranty anymore did alot cross country driving with the military.

I am sure you are aware that most auto parts places will test your starter for free.

well guys i took my starter to autozone and they said it was good then i took it to a shop that does starters and alternators they said that it exploded from the inside.  so i know where not to take my electrical problems anymore.  thanks for the adivice guys it was the starter and now me and my truck are mudding again!!!
