I was driving my 2000 Nissan frontier 4x4 SE V6 3.3L to the gym when all of a sudden I had loss of power and the motor shut off.  I tried restarting it and nothing (I have plenty of gas and battery is still charged so alternator is good also).  Once I got it towed home I listened to see if the fuel pump whined when the key initially was turned on and it DOESNT... So I checked the fuse in the cab and it is good thus I figured it was the fuel pump.  I do have 150 K + miles on the truck.  I wasted $$ on a fuel pump cause when I put it on and tried to start it, nothing!! New fuel pump still doesn’t whine when key is turned on so there has to be an electrical issue somewhere.  I looked in the fuse box under the hood and didn’t see any fuses or relays pertaining to the fuel pump but I could be wrong.  Please help!!!!! Any ideas?????

Every thing has a fuse somewhere. For early Frontiers there was a recall on the electrical connection at the fuel tank. Get some electrical cleaner and work on all the connectors. Check fuel filters.
