The Kent-Moore # is J36001. You may be able to purchase directly from them or maybe rent one from Autozone. Try some of your local auto parts stores, they often have tools for sale.

this is not the tool i need. i have seen this tool in all the auto stores ive gone too. the one i need is a 6 lug female socket, meaning the spindal nut has the 6 pins sticking out, it doesnt have holes for the socket you talking about. did you have an answer on if i can still drive my truck with the plastic piece on the snap ring broken off?

Are you sure you have a nissan??? Maybe a picture would help! The plastic piece is for the auto hub operation, if you are not using 4wd leave it out. Just make sure the axle isn't engaged. And I still think you are in over your head. sorry for the honesty.

its alright about the honesty because i know that im way over my head but i still like to try and do it myself. its kinda like a challenge now and i want to conquer it. but back to the hub..... it is a free running hub so the axle should be good the way it is but you saying that means i can drive my truck again finally. i just did want to burn anything out without knowing first.
