Well I just took my truck around the block after doing an ignition tune up (plugs, wires, dist. cap, rotor, etc.)

When I was going down the hill at around 20 mph, I heard a faint clicking noise in the rear end.

I pull back into my driveway and look under at the driveshafts (2 pc.) and the rear. A "crack" caught my eye. The piece that goes between the diff. input and the housing. I don't know if it's the diff. housing itself or something else. Can somebody help me out?

I took some pictures.

That is the ABS sensor. Looks like some rust got build up under it and cracked it.
Love that NY road salt!!!!!!!!

Really? I didn't see any wiring or connector on it but I didn't look carefully.

CourtesyNissan doesn't even list it on the parts diagram or parts list. I need to find somewhere I can buy this part from.

..

Welcome to the group but we have a slight problem. Since it is your thread I won't delete the photos.

Sorry to say but your photos like 2143 x 1607 pixels are wider than screen size this is against the posting rules. This makes it unnecessarily difficult on those of us on dial-up and those that don’t like scrolling horizontally to see or read the posted items. Please reduce the sizes to less than 800 pixels wide... Photos 640 pixels are fairly good except the very smallest of monitors.
