hey, so i got the recharge kit and started recharging the ac in my 98 xe, but when it came time to turn on the ac and let the compressor run, it wouldnt.  the clutch kicks in and the compressor spins like half a turn and then it just slips, the clutch is visibly going in and out when you hit the button, but not kicking out on its own likr from low or high pressure.  there is 12 volts coming to the thermocouple at the back of the compressor, so i would assume the coil is still getting its voltage.  is there a way to like refurbish a clutch?  if not, (i have combed the internet, but to no avail) can i get a clutch kit for it?  also, where it hasnt been running the ac in awhile, is it possible to cycle the thing on and off some to get the clutch to clean itself up a litle and start grabbing better again?  i need some help on this, please?

thanks!

I'm kind of in the same boat as you. The clutch slips
horribly when I start the truck then catches up. I too have
combed the internet looking for just a clutch. The
dealership quoted me $300
