Hello I have a 05 frontier se 4x4...engine light came on and
my mechanic said I have a evap leak....would changing the
evap hose solve my problem....thanks...

I took mine off and cleaned out the purge valve and had the code reset. Hasnt come back on since.

Most likely it is due to the VCV sticking or full of dirt.
There is a NTB that tells how to install a filter kit and
replace the VCV with a new style one. Be sure you are using
a genuine NISSAN gas cap also.
