I am not new to nissan but new to nissan trucks. I owned a new
spec-v sentra and xterra but I recently bought a used 07 frontier. I
had it for a week and its been at the dealer for a week getting
repairs done. Its all warranty covered so im not worried about but it
brings my morale about the truck down a bit..and I keep seeing more
and more posts about technical/problems and I start to worry did I
make the right choice by purchasing this truck? Im sure it'll all work
out and it'll be a great vehicle for me,but right now its got me down.

..

All makes of vehicles have problems. Most are driver/ matainace related. Next are manufacturing problems and most are fixed free of charge if not too old or high mileage. Between 8 and 20 percent all new cars and trucks will will have these problems. If you hang with other web sites of other makes you will feak out at the problems they are having.

I bought a new '99 Grand Cherokee 4x4 V-8. I loved to drive it but I sold it due to having repair problems.

When you buy a used vehicle it is always a gamble.. I bought my '99 Frontier new and have taken good care of it even though I've had it off road in the Rocky Mountains. It not had ANY problems of any kind. I trust it more than I would a brand new one!

Good luck.. Don S..

Yeah the frontier I bought was dealer certified and I got a carfax
with it. It only has 34k miles on it,one owner and well taken of inside
and out.. the first night I had it the fog lights cut off everytime I put
the right turn signal on and then I noticed a whining noise which
turned out to be the shoes/guides on the timing chain. All were
covered completely by the dealer along with a free loaner car while
its there. Its a week today that its been in the shop. Its just a crappy
way to start off my truck/frontier experience. I do like it very much
and can't wait to get it back and test out the 4wd
