2005 Frontier NISMO - 60K miles

I've read all the posts on blower motor resistors.  My symptoms are similar but just different enough for me to think it may be worse.

Symptons:
Blower setting: 1
A/C light comes on and compressor kicks in
No air flow

Blower settings: 2-4
A/C light will not turn on and compressor stays off
Normal air flow for setting

Can anyone confirm it is the resistor or something worse?

JC

I would go with the resister, these newer ones do some
strange things.

Had the same problem with my 06 Frontier, MT
Change the resistor all is good with the settings 1-4 but still no cold air.
I was told that my highside pressure was too high 400+, any change my expansion valve is done or worst.

safetyfirst, I would recover the system to verify it isn't
over charged and verify the electric fan is operating.
