I bought my truck used and only one of the two cigarette lighter/
accesory ports on the dashoard worked ad I thought no big deal its
probably just a blown fuse and nothing more. Recently I went on
vacation and my daughter had a portable dvd player plugged into the
one located inside the armrest compartment and it died mid trip. So
when I got home I thought it would be a good time to change out the
fuses on them. I popped the two fuse boxes under the hood and the
one in the glove box and still haven't seemed to be able to locate any
blown fuses. Can anyone tell me exactly what the lower one on the
dash and the arm rest comparment are labled under? I hope its a
simple fix and not a more serious electrical issue

The fuse panel in the glove box area has 2 fuses, 1 is
labeled "power outlet" and the other is labeled "cigar
Lighter". Should be listed in your owners manual. Both are
15 amp fuses.

They are so small it is hard to see them. The best way to
check is with a test lite or remove them and check with an
ohm meter or just replace with a known good fuse.

What size is the fuse in there and is it located in the regular boxes
under the hood or in a special location?

i think it was a 15 amp fuse

i dont know what you mean by regular boxes, but it is in the bigger of the two black boxes, the one with wire harnesses in it.
