So I have a 2000 Nissan Frontier, Desert Runner. It only has 76K miles. Just recently I started noticing a sound when I push in the clutch. It sounds kinda whiny, or like something is spinning loose. A friend of mine listened to it and said it might be the through-out bearing. I don't know what this is, but it didn't stop me from pretending that I did. Any ideas?

Does it do it every time the clutch is depressed? If so,
most likely it is the throw out bearing.

Yes it does, and now the pitch is getting lower, it used to be alot higher sounding. I guess this means my truck will be sitting in the driveway till next payday.
