Hello All,
Im new to owning a Frontier, my other car I owned was a jeep wrangler. I want to change the fluids in my truck. I purchased it used and not sure what the previous own did with the truck. I have read so much online about royal purple, mobil 1 and amsoil. Amsoil is a pain because I have to order it and wait for it to come in. I would rather be able to walk into a store and walk out with what I need. So which is better? Royal Purple for everything or Mobil 1?
I have read that you just put ATF oil in the tranny if that is the case can I just put Royal Purple MAX ATF in both or will it mess something up? Also in the differentials cn I just put royal purple max gear in both or should I use mobil 1 in those?

Oh and the truck has no warranty so no need to worry about voiding the warranty

Correction I have read that you just put ATF in the tranny and the transfer case, so do I just put max ATF in both or MAX ATF in one and something in the other

Nissan has many different ATF designations, Matic D goes in
the transfer, Matic J which changed to Matic S, goes in the
transmission(assuming it is an automatic).

Yeah i wont be using nissan fluid. Looking to see which is better
mobil1 or the royal purple and how much goes ot each thanks
