Okay, I drive a 2004 Nissan Frontier and while I was driving my truck shut down like i had let off the gas pedal, but I didnt. So I proceeded to apply the gas pedal and nothing happened. Eventually my engine cut off. I have replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter and checked the lines for fuel flow and it checks out okay. The engine turns over, but I still get no fire. Whats wrong with my Frontier?

Coil, spark plugs, plug wires, broken valve spring. Does
it try to run at all if you give it some throttle. Also
more specs on the truck would help. (v6, I4, man, auto...
etc)

It does nothing when you give it throttle. Its like a dead pedal.

And i have a V6 3.3L 2WD Automatic

Okay I figured it out. My timing chain and water pumped
went out which prevented the engine from igniting. Thanks
for the help

If it is a 3.3, then it has a timing belt, not chain.
