the 2 cat codes came up on a scan..when I turn the off with a scan guage it takes about 20 miles and it goes back on..It was snowing hard and I reset the light and it took 80 miles for it to go on..could it be something else than cat converters..the truck runs great..would it pass a inspection if I turn the light off before I goto the inspection station..Carl

P0420 and P0430 are Cat codes. Most likely the cats need
replacing. Make sure you have no misfires or other concerns
that will cause a cat to go bad. NOTE: helps to know what
vehicle you are dealing with.
