Hey guys, first post... I have an '07 Frontier which I have had for a few years now. Recently my truck died while driving home (luckily I was 50 feet from my driveway). I'm not sure where to begin, but some strange things were happening leading up to the shutdown of my truck. A few days prior, I noticed that when I hit my lock button on my remote, the horn would not sound. Also, when I hit unlock, the hazards would not flash. I did not change anything myself so I found this kind of strange. The day it died, I was driving and my (aftermarket) stereo cut out and came right back on, but it lost all of its memory. Finally, on the way home, the engine just shut off. While rolling to a stop, my 4WD light went on (I was in 2WD) followed by my CEL. Of course, when I hooked up my scanner it didn't produce a single code. I tried to start it a couple of times. It tried to run but it died out. I am getting fuel and spark (from what I can tell). Thoughts? I suspect the ECU but I'm afraid there could be something deeper here. Any help would be appreciated!

Have you had the ECU relay recall done??? Battery checked??
BCM??? IPDM E/R??? Many possibilities.

No I have not had the recall done. Is there a link for these recalls?

From what I have researched, IPDM comes with the ECU relay and this diode people speak of. Is this accurate?

It was my ECM and my IPDM. Nice to see that Nissan is making quality vehicles... almost $1000 in parts alone and luckily I was able to do the work myself. I ended up shaving off the hole on the bottom side of the bracket to make it like the top bracket. Otherwise I would have been there all day tightening that lower bolt.
