2000 4x4 manual Frontier V6 3.3L Crew Cab
Trying to pull engine, all disconnected , is there a trick to getting
engine out without dropping transmission?
I've run out of room, deepest pan of oil pan is touching cross member
and output shaft is not clear of manual transmission!

Have you removed the front diff. assy.?

No, it is actually the front diff that is holding the engine back.
So by removing the diff I should have enough room to pull engine forward and lift out?
Sorry if this sounds stupid, I'm having the work done and getting the story by phone, I check the Haynes book, but it is clearly written for 2wd.

Yes, front diff needs to come out.
