Hi everyone,
I have a 2008 Crew cab Frontier V6 with auto tranny and
have been hearing a lot about IPDM relay's etc going bad.
I bought one online to have in case of an emergency but
when I pulled the IPDM cover under the hood I see 5 similar
looking relays, any idea which one it could be?

The IPDM E/R is the intelligent power distribution module
in the engine room. There are many relays and fuses in it.
The relay you are referring to may be the ECU relay. Have
you had the recall done yet???? Sorry, just double checked,
the recall was for 05-06.

Yes, the relay I got in the post is the ECM relay. I have
heard this is not just 05-06 models this issue is affecting
but all across the years up to 2012.
So I got a relay just in case it happens to me.My 2008
Frontier only has 30,000 miles on it so for $3 for the
relay you couldn't go wrong?
Any idea which relay it is in case I have the issue?

I am off work for 6-8 weeks due to a hand injury, so I
don't have access to good info @ home. Do a google search
for the recall, that should show which relay it is. If not,
send me a PM in a month or so and I'll get the info when I
return to work(hopefully).
