 | I'm writing in concerns of the the door rubber. Seems that leak a little bit of water from time to time. I just got back from a friends house, where we decided to go pond hopping in 4+ of water, and my interior got hammered by muddy, mirky water, and now my truck stinks.

Haha....not really, I'm not writing to Nissan, but I am here to tell you guys that I decided to go pond hopping in my 05. All I can say, is I am totally impressed with the capabilities of my Frontier! We tore that pond to pieces! For the grand finally, I decided to go dead center of the pond, which was 4' deep, and up to the bottom of all 4 doors of my Fronty. We almost got stuck, and had a tractor ready to pull us out, and I worked it, and worked it, and worked it some more, till it finally pulled itself out of the godforsaken mudhole of a pond, lol

The downfall.......my door rubbers leaked while almost being stuck for some period, and man, it screwed up my carpet, lol.

I guess that's the price you pay, in order to play ;)

My wife was shooting video of the whole thing, and I'll see what I can do as far as getting it on here for everybody to see.

yeah i know what ou mean, I got my 06 king cab stuck up past my fender wells in water, needless to say i had water in my cab all the way up to the bottem part of my seat... the only thing that was damaged is the passenger air bag will not turn on.... but like you said you play you pay. other than that it ran like a champ, while stuck no problems with my engine at all.

I sure was hoping to get the carpet out and let it air air dry along with the mat underneath it, but never found the time to do so. It wound up drying out, and to my suprise, it does not have any funny smells like I figured it would.

The only thing that happened is the check engine light came on for a few days, and my drivers side headlight filled up with mirky pond water, causing it to dry in their and leave some stains inside the housing.

The check engine light finally went off yesterday, so I figure something else must have dried out as well, lol
